A Pie Iron is a great alternative to making large portions of food in your Dutch Oven. In fact, Pie Irons can be used to make Breakfasts, Lunches, Dinners and Desserts. Most commonly, Pie Irons are used to make some sort of warm/hot sandwich. When talking specifically about sweet treats made in a Pie Iron, these are often referred to as Jaffles, Pudgy Pies, Mountain Pies or Hobo Pies.
