SUNRISE BUSCUIT & GRAVY CASSEROLE

Egg casserole meets Biscuits and Gravy in the breakfast mashup that's sure to fuel you day. Simple to make, using store bought biscuits in a tube, this dish will make prep a breeze.

Rise and shine to the delicious aroma of our sunrise biscuit casserole! Made in a camp dutch oven, this easy and savory breakfast dish is perfect for your next camping trip.

Ingredients

  • 2 Packs of 8 count Tubed Biscuit Dough (Pillsbury Grands will do!)
  • 1 Pound Breakfast Sausage (your preferred flavor)
  • 2 Packs Peppered Gravy Mix (Makes 4 Cups)
  • 12 Eggs
  • 2 Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste
  • 2 Tbsp Butter

Instructions

  1. Pre heat your Dutch Oven to 350 Degrees
  2. In a separate pan, brown the breakfast sausage and drain fat thoroughly
  3. In a separate sauce pan, make the gravy according to the packet instructions and set aside
  4. Cut up Biscuits into 1 inch pieces
  5. Add Butter to hot Dutch Oven and spread evenly
  6. Evenly cover the bottom of your dutch oven with Biscuit pieces
  7. Sprinkle cheese in an even layer on top of biscuits
  8. In separate bowl, whisk Eggs, Milk, Salt and Pepper and dump on top of cheese layer
  9. Pour Gravy mixture evenly on top of all ingredients
  10. Bake 40 Minutes until eggs are firm and biscuits are cooked through
  11. Serve hot and top with hot sauce for an added kick!
